Evening Reflection

3 min honest review before sleep

**Why it works:** The space between how we intend to show up and how we actually show up gets smaller when we are willing to see the truth of our day. Many people avoid this because it can feel tender or uncomfortable. But a short, honest review before sleep, without self-criticism and without turning it into a big journaling session, strengthens your ability to witness yourself. It also gives your mind something useful to process while you sleep. **How to do it:** 1. Right before sleep, lie still or sit quietly with your eyes closed. 2. Replay the day in a simple way: what happened, what you did, and how you responded. 3. Notice where you were aligned with who you want to be, and where you were not. 4. If you feel judgment creeping in, soften. You are practicing awareness, not punishment. 5. Name one small thing you want to do differently tomorrow. Just one. 6. Keep it to three minutes. That is the whole practice. **In The Quest:** Log it in the app. Three minutes of evening reflection counts as done.
