Voice Journal
2-min audio recording: what do you want to say?
**Why it works:** There is a gap between what most people write and what they actually mean, because writing invites editing, self-censorship, and performance. Voice bypasses those filters. Hearing yourself say a thing in your own voice, in real time, without the ability to delete it as fast as you think it, reveals what is actually there. The record function is the practice: the recording can be deleted immediately after.
**How to do it:**
1. Open a voice memo app. Start recording.
2. Ask yourself: "What do I actually want to say right now?"
3. Talk for two minutes. Do not plan what you are going to say before you start.
4. Do not edit, pause, or re-record.
5. Listen back once if you want. Then delete it or keep it, either is fine.
**In The Quest:** Log in the app. A 2-minute unscripted voice recording counts as done. Daily practice. The content is irrelevant; honesty is what counts.
