Meditation

A moment of peace in a world full of chaos

Find a quiet space to sit, with no distractions, breathe deeply and tune out. **Take a Seat:** Meditation is not comfortable, and that's part of the the practice. Sit crosslegged on the ground or a cushion. Make yourself as comfortable as possible in the discomfort. Allow your hips to open, with your knees sinking as close to the ground as possible. Be mindful of your body's limits and don't push past the point of discomfort. The goal isn't pain, the goal is to slowly open into the discomfort as your body learns to adapt. Note: It takes time and practice to develop a good seat. Don't be discouraged if you feel discomfort or your legs fall asleep. Your seat will improve with time, and pain is the process. Breathe Deeply:*
