RAPID

Finnish sauna and cold plunge.

San Diego’s Premier thermal Lounge

RAPID is a Finnish sauna and cold plunge studio in San Diego's Midway district. No classes, no booking, no wellness pitch. Walk in whenever you want, stay however long you want. Just heat, cold, and whatever your body needs that day.

Why Max and James built it

The story

Max grew up in Germany with real sauna culture and carried it through years of competitive athletics. James built a career in rare coins, hit a wall with burnout, and found contrast therapy on the other side of it. Both landed on the same thing: heat and cold, done right, make a difference. Neither could find a place in San Diego that treated it seriously. So they built one.

What you get
