Frequency is free to join, free to find a Circle, and free to host one. That stays true because some members choose to back it. That's Crew.
Crew keeps the free version open for everyone else: the people who just moved, the people who can't pay right now, the person who comes to one Circle and needs it more than they'd ever say. Your support is what lets us say yes to all of them.
Crew carries a few extras: Vera without the daily cap, the Crew badge, and listing what you author in the public library. The full list is in The Vault.
You pick. Crew is contribute what you want: any monthly amount at or above the floor gets exactly the same Crew. The floor and the suggested amount are on the upgrade page.
Nothing you've earned goes away, and nothing free gets taken from you. You can stop any time from your settings.
