Frequency is meant to feel safe. If something's wrong, you have direct ways to act, and real people behind the scenes who follow up.
Reporting
- You can report a post, comment, person, or event when something crosses a line.
- A report goes to the moderation queue for a human to review; it isn't decided by a bot.
Blocking
- Blocking someone is your own immediate control: it's about your experience and doesn't require anyone's approval. See also account & safety.
How moderation works here
- Frequency is moderated by people: the roles ladder (hosts, guides, mentors, and platform admins) handles safety, escalating as needed.
- When action is taken, a member may receive a direct message from the official moderation account.
- Repeated or serious harm can lead to a member being suspended.
If you're ever worried about someone's safety, reach a human, a host or the platform team, rather than handling it alone.
