People join free. Businesses host free. You pay when you start charging.
Every Space starts free and stays a real Space: your page, your events, your posts, your members. A plan is what you take once money is moving through it. This page covers what each plan costs and what it turns on.

Those are the prices, and they are the same whenever you start. There is no beta rate any more: the Opening Beta pricing closed on 17 August 2026.
There is one more plan, Independent: white label, run on your own terms, off the shared network. It is arranged directly rather than bought from this page, so if that is what you need, ask us and we will walk you through it.
Paying yearly gives you two months free: a yearly plan is ten months of the monthly price.

Independent adds white-label branding and takes your Space off the shared network. It is arranged directly, not bought from the plan picker.
Two things to know before the numbers.
Tips are free. Frequency takes nothing out of a tip. Not a percentage, not a cent.
A sale to your own people is free. If the buyer already follows your Space, is an active member of it, sits in your Space Contacts or your own contact list, or has bought from you before, Frequency's share is 0%. We charge once for the introduction. After that they are your people, free.
That leaves the sales the network brings you: someone who found you through discovery, a referral, or the Market. Those are the only ones we take a percentage of:

Every plan can sell, including Free. A Free Space creates events, takes RSVPs, sells tickets, and takes payments from day one. You do not buy the ability to charge, you buy the rate down. A paid plan lowers what Frequency takes on the sales the network brings you, and it gives you the tools that turn those buyers into your own people, where the rate is 0% on every plan.
Three things do genuinely need a plan, and they are all about money: selling memberships (Business), campaigns and funnels (Business), and splitting revenue between businesses (Collective). Nothing about being here, gathering people, or being found needs one.
On your personal account the same shape applies: a free Member sells at 10%, and Crew brings that to 8%. Crew is contribute what you want, from $4.99 a month.
The idea is simple: we earn when the network earns you something, and never on the work you brought yourself.

You can change plans whenever you like. See Billing for how that works.
Frequency is in open beta, so the free allowances below are switched off until October 1, 2026. Until then every Space can use every tool on this page, with no limits, whatever plan it is on. The one exception is QR codes, which keep their published limit throughout.
You can subscribe any time during the beta at the same price you would pay after it. From October 1 the allowances apply as written, and we will tell you what changes before it changes.
Free is a real plan, not a countdown, and it does not expire. Every plan does what this page says it does.
Your Space keeps everything already in it. The free allowances apply to what you add from here, so nothing you have made is hidden, moved, or deleted, and you can always read and export it. When an allowance is full, the next thing you add is what waits, and moving up a plan raises the limit.
You can subscribe whenever you like, at the same price you would pay later.
