Community Resonance is your Space's CRM. Track the people you work with, and bring them over from My Contacts.
Community Resonance is your Space's CRM, the place to track the people you work with. It is a set of stages, a card for each person, and a contact list, all kept inside your Space. It builds on My Contacts, the private address book every member already has.
What is Community Resonance?
It is a set of stages and a contact list that belong to your Space.
- The stages are a row, with a card for each person. The stages match what you do: a Business gets a sales funnel, a Non Profit gets a donor funnel, and any other Space gets a simple funnel.
- The contacts list is the people you track for this Space. Open a contact to read or add private notes about them.
- A live band at the top shows your open deals, open value, won value, and tasks due.
Your Space gets its starting stages the first time you open it. You can work from there.
How do I open it?
Open it from Manage on your Space.
- Go to your Space and open Manage.
- Pick the Contacts card.
You see it if your Space has it turned on and you are an owner or admin. If you are on the team but not an admin, ask an owner to add you. If your Space does not have Contacts turned on yet, the page tells you how to turn it on.
How do I bring my contacts in?
Use Bring your contacts into this Space on the Contacts page.
- Open Contacts for your Space.
- In the Bring your contacts into this Space box, pick a status or type a tag to choose who comes in. Leave both blank to bring everyone.
- Select Bring contacts in.
Frequency copies those people from My Contacts into your Space and starts a deal for each one in your first stage. It skips anyone you have already brought in and anyone without an email. Your private My Contacts list stays exactly as it is.
Does this change My Contacts?
No. My Contacts stays private to you and unchanged.
Bringing contacts in copies them into your Space. The people are linked, so reading the same person twice will not make a duplicate, but your personal list, your notes, and your follow-ups are all still yours.
Frequently asked questions
Who can see my Community Resonance?
Only the owners and admins of your Space. The stages, the contacts, and the notes are scoped to your Space and never shared with another Space.
Why are some contacts skipped?
A contact is skipped if you have already brought it into this Space, or if it has no email address. You can add an email in My Contacts and bring it in again.
Can I change the stages?
The starting stages are set by the kind of Space you run. Custom stages and fields come later.
Is a deal the same as money?
Not yet. A deal is a card you move through your stages to track where a person is. Paid features come later.
