Subscribe to a Space calendar
Add a Space's calendar to Google or Apple Calendar once, and its events stay current on their own.
Add a Space's calendar to the one you already use, and its upcoming gatherings show up without you checking back.
Add it
- Open the Space and go to its Calendar tab.
- Press Subscribe.
- Pick Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, or copy the link.
The link looks like webcal://frequencylocal.com/spaces/<space-slug>/calendar.ics. You only add it once. After that your calendar app refreshes it on its own schedule, which can take a few hours.
What it carries
- Published events that are public or unlisted, including repeating ones, which arrive as one series.
- A Network or Collective's link is network-wide: it brings its chapters' public events along, so one subscription follows the whole group. A chapter's own link carries only that chapter.
- A cancelled event drops off.
What it leaves out
- Drafts, and dates a team is still planning.
- Anything a private Space hasn't made public. A private Space has no public link.
- Exact addresses on an event that hides its address until you register. The calendar shows the city only.
For hosts
Your Space's link is on your Calendar settings page next to the subscribe menu, so you can share it. Your private team link is separate and shows more. See Plan your calendar.
To follow your own RSVPs instead, see Events.
