Tap to meet someone in person
Met another member out in the world? One of you shows a code, the other opens it, and you both earn Zaps and each other as a contact.
Running into someone from Frequency at a cafe, a market or a trailhead counts. Tap to meet records it.
How it works
- One of you opens Tap to meet from Rewards. A code appears: a QR and eight letters. It lasts one minute.
- The other scans the QR with their camera, or opens Tap to meet and types the letters.
- Press We met. You both get 15 Zaps and land in each other's contacts, marked as met in person.
The limits
- Once per pair a week.
- Three meets a day.
- Both of you have to be signed in, and the code never leaves the screen, so you both have to be there.
Phones that tap each other with no code are coming with the Frequency app for iPhone.
