Frequency runs in your browser, and you can also put it on your home screen. It opens like any other app, with no app store and nothing to update.
Open Settings → Install the app and tap Install the app. Your browser asks you to confirm, and Frequency lands on your home screen (or in your apps on a computer).
No button there? Your browser may not offer one, or Frequency is already installed. Look for Install app or Add to Home screen in the browser menu, or open Frequency from your home screen.
Safari has no install button, so it takes three taps:
On iPhone and iPad, push notifications only work from the Home Screen. Once you open Frequency from there, turn them on in Settings → Notifications. See Notifications.
After you RSVP or post for the first time, Frequency may show a small card offering this, once. It never shows on your first visit, and Not now puts it away. Settings keeps the option for whenever you want it.
