Sign inJoin the BetaThe permanent badges you collect for showing up: tiers, categories, and the secret ones.
Achievements are the permanent badges you collect on Frequency. Unlike season Zaps, they never reset; once a badge is yours, it's yours for good. They're the long record of who you've been in the community.
Open The Quest and pick the Achievements tab. You'll see your whole collection: what you've earned, what's still locked, your collection progress, and your lifetime Zaps and streaks alongside.
You don't apply for achievements; you earn them automatically the moment you qualify, and Frequency lets you know when one lands. Many also pay Zaps when they land, so a badge is often a bonus on top of the thing you already did.
A few examples of the kind of thing that earns one:
Badges are grouped by what they celebrate: Social (joining and connecting), Events (attending and hosting), Content (posting), Leadership (earning roles), Streaks (consistency), Seasonal (rank and Zap milestones), and Special (rare, one-off recognitions like Founding Member).
Within each, badges climb four tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) so there's usually a next step: attend one event, then ten, then twenty-five, then a hundred.
Some achievements show up as ??? with a lock. Their conditions are hidden on purpose. Keep exploring and doing what you do, and you'll stumble into them. The surprise is the point.
Your badge count rides with you. It shows on the leaderboard next to your Zaps and streak, and recent badges appear on your Quest dashboard. Collecting them is never required; they're a record, not homework.
