Current is what your circle builds together. Where Zaps are your personal score, Current is the circle's: a shared, seasonal measure of the circle showing up for each other. One number, owned by everyone.
Your personal rewards aren't touched: you still earn your own Zaps for checking in and completing challenges. Current is what those same acts add to the collective.
On your circle's page, a Circle Current card shows what you've gathered this season. A brand-new circle simply doesn't show the card until it has gathered some Current, so there's no zero staring at you on day one.
Circles are never ranked against each other on Current, and there's no inter-circle leaderboard. That's deliberate: Current exists to say "look what we built together this season," not "we beat the Tuesday crew." It's collaborative all the way down.
The recipe is simple: gather, and actually show up. RSVP to your circle's events, check in when you're there, and take on a challenge together. Every member who walks through the door moves the number for everyone.
